Doses
Doses,
which is presented as an artist book in the form of a written project on the website,
is the outcome of the master thesis at the Lucerne University of Applied Art and Science, specialzing in Art in the Public Sphere. Began with entries from
my diary and memos with brief commentaries after reading texts such as film, literature,
scientific papers, and paintings. As I juxtaposed these different sources in
the diary, I discovered contrasts that shaped the themes. Within the framework
of a design, an artwork, and a reflection, I analyzed each element and
synthesized them into cohesive themes, concluding with my own insights. It is
an attempt to question traditional boundaries and move away from the
conventional framing of art.
Presented in a digital website format, the layout
allows for easy comparison and analysis of the paired works and serves as an
archive for letters sent to subscribers that span a variety of media.
Adhering to the given timeframe and format, some
themes were only a few sentences long, and the project ended at 22 to leave
room for further exploration.
